Elk Mills/Price Hardy Sec. 22, Twp 22N Range 34W. about 2 miles north of Hwy O on Hwy 43, then west across field into trees. On the Price Hardy farm and previously given that name. Only identifiable graves are thos of James C. Price and his Cherokee wife, Almira Parks Price. He did 1851, she in 1855. |
Enterprise Cemetery Probably was in Sec. 16, Twp 22N, Range 34W Near former site of Enterprise. There are repeat reports of an "Indian" cemetery being bulldozed here. Census records show that Cherokees lived in bothy Enterprise and Elk Mills. |
