Nathan Stephens

Rev. Nathan Stephens entered this life at Powell, Missouri, September 8, 1875 and departed this life April 21, 1948 at Anderson, Missouri.
He was united in marriage to Janey Lawson at Mountain, Missouri on January 6, 1895 and to this union were born thirteen children, ten sons and three daughters, five of which preceded him in death. He was converted at the age of 15 years, and has been in the ministry work for 35 years. She leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, 8 sons, one brother, 37 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Nathan Stephens of Anderson were conducted Monday by Rev. McNabb at the Roller Baptist Church. Burial was in Roller Cemetery.
