Peter F. Laughlin
PEA RIDGE, ARKANSAS --Peter F. Laughlin, 95 of Pea Ridge, died November 21, 2003, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Mo., following a lengthy illness. He was born November 17, 1908, in Washburn, Mo., to Peter M. and Mamie Laughlin. he worked as a self-employed mechanic and he owned and operated a farm in Pea Ridge. He was an Air Force veteran of WWII. He married Oleta Banks Woodard on June 13, 1982, in Bentonville. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mae Banks.
Survivors include his wife, Oleta Banks Woodard; one son, Barney Banks of Wheaton, Mo.; three stepdaughters, Clyta Brewer of Pea Ridge, Shirley Schell of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Joyce Botts of Wichita, Kansas; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Benton County Funeral Home in Bentonville with Rev. Bob Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Roller Cemetery in Washburn, Mo.
