GRANDMA BROWNING DIES - On Tuesday morning, Nov. 8, 1921, the death angel visited the home of Uncle Jerry Browning, and claimed his beloved companion. She has been in poor health for a number of years, but bore her affliction with great patience until the last. Her body was conveyed to Noel, MO., for buria and she leaves a devoted husband, five sons and two daughters al of whom were present but Mrs. John Jackson of Boles, Idaho. They were: Bill, Ab, Rice, John and James Browning of Grove, Mrs. Mitchell Mason of Chelsea, and Mrs. John Jackson of Boles, Idaho, also her lonely husband. Truly a good woman has gone to her reward. It is sad that one we cherish should be taken from our home but the joys that do not perish live in memory alone. All the years we've spent together. All the happy golden hours shall be cherished in remembrance. Frangrant sweets from memory's flowers; The dearest one from us is gone. The voice we loved is still, a place is vacant in our home which never can be filled. By a Friend. ***Shelt-Noel Cemetery, MO - Nov. 9, 1921 - as per death certificate which is filed with this family. Information provided on death certificate by J.C. Browning of Grove, OK - Pretty sure this was her son, John Clarence Browning (1892-1952). submitted by Sheila Harrison |
