Obituaries Elizabeth Jane Lawson Stephens Exum
Joplin Glove, Thursday, January 1, 1964 Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Lawson Stephens Exum, 83 years old, Anderson, Missouri, Route 2, died at 4:25 o'clock, Wednesday morning in Cardwell Memorial Hospital in Stella where she had been a patient for one week. Born in McDonald County in the Mountain Community, she had been a resident of this area all her life. Surviving are seven sons, Home Stephens of Granby, Mo., John Stephens of Exeter, Mo. Harve Stephens, Hiawassee, Ark., Frank Stephens, Rio Dell, California, Carlin Stephens, Vista, California, Lewis Stephens, Anderson, Mo., Route 2 and Edward Stephens of Parma, Idaho; three brothers Earl Lawson and Wyatt Lawson both of Washburn, and Cecil Lawson of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; more than 100 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be under the direction of Downey-Woodard-Mooney Funeral Home of Anderson. Burial will be in the Roller Cemetery. submitted by Lois Plett |
