Joplin Globe, May 20, 1969
George Osman Laughlin, 82 years old, Tiff City, died at 7:00 o'clock Monday morning in the Sale Memorial Hospital, Neosho, where he had been a patient two weeks.
He was born December 19, 1886 in Washburn, Missouri and had lived in McDonald County 25 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Roller Methodist Church in which he was a trustee ad deacon and the Modern Woodman of the World, Washburn. Surviving is a daughter Miss Doyle Laughlin, Tiff City.
Services will be at 2:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Tiff City Community Building with the Rev. Dean Royce officiating. Burial will be in the Roller Cemetery under the direction of the Ozark Funeral Home, Anderson, Missouri.
