Funeral Services for Amos Schell, 70 years old, of Mountain community in Southeastern Missouri in McDonald County were held in the Roller Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m., May 8th. The Rev. LaFollette officiated and burial in Roller Cemetery under the direction of Downey-Woodard-Mooney Funeral HOme of Anderson, Missouri. Mr. Schell was a life long resident of McDonald County, died at his home at 9:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 5, 1965. He was a member of the Methodist Church and had been in failing health for 2 1/2 years.
Surviving are his widow, Esther, of the home, one daughter, Amy Prime of Grandview, Missosuri, three sons, Clint of Grove, Oklahoma, Carl and Billy of Washburn, Missouri, Two sisters, Mrs. Bell McDonald of Cutler, California, Mrs. Hazel Parker, Fresno, California, two brothers, Homer, Springer, New Mexico and Wallace of Brentwood, California, 14 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
